It's the most wonderful time of the year

We have been very busy just as most people are around the holidays. Here is a quick update on the events leading up to Christmas.

We started the holidays off with my Mom coming home to see my sister Tracy's new baby Taylor. He had been in the NICU for a while and my Mom was waiting to come help out after he came home from the hospital. The night before he came home we were able to sneak in a dinner to celebrate birthdays too. It was good to have her here for a short while.




I had the opportunity to see Darius Rucker for Michael's company Christmas party. He had an exam that night so I took Whitney as my date.




Michael and I were able to go eat at The Palace which is a nice restaurant at the Cincinnatian Hotel downtown. It was a fun night with the Blakes to try new "fancy" food!




Izzy talked a lot about gingerbread men and gingerbread houses at school and insisted that we make one this year. Here is the finished product.


We were able to take a family picture at our ward Christmas party. This is a rare occurrence these days so it was nice to have a family picture around the holidays.
