Moving and House Projects
Mid July was moving day and we were very lucky to have lots of help from family and friends. We couldn't have done it without them! I was otherwise occupied and not worried about taking pictures but my mother was wonderful enough to at least take some on her cell phone.

We kept a POD at my parents house to clear out our things so they could move back in. It made moving a big portion of our stuff easier when the company picked it up there and dropped it off at the new house.

My new neighbors thought I was pretty crazy as I was 6 1/2 months pregnant and painting everything around me in the 90-100 degree temperatures. I started with the mailbox post and went on to the garage. I have to admit if I just waited a little longer for the cooler temperatures it might have been an easier job to tackle. For some reason I picked the longest hottest streak in Cincinnati to do my outdoor painting. What can I say I was nesting :)
I moved on to the doors later with my sister Tracy who was another big painting helper!
Just recently I decided to keep and update the kitchen table we have had for years. I love spray paint, it's my new best friend. So it's now spray painted and thanks to the Blakes and my lovely husband who has a hidden talent for covering chairs, it's like a new table!

It took a long time to take the wallpaper off in the kitchen (about 1 1/2 weeks). I again had a lot of help! Thanks everyone. It took a little while to pick a color but we finally did.
Thanks so much to my talented friend Shelley who spend two days painting the kitchen. There was a lot of cutting to do around the cabinets but she did an awesome job!
Next up was the baby's room. It's the only bedroom painted but everyone knows the nursery is a priority (back to the nesting). Here's the finished project!
Again I love spray paint, here is before
Here is the after
So we have kept busy on the house front. Everyone keeps telling me to stop with the projects. I keep trying but this baby better come soon or I think I might have a few more ideas of things to start!
