Parenting is an odd thing. Not quite sure why we get so proud about some of things we do...
We finally managed to get a week of vacation this summer and went to Phoenix, AZ to see Tiffany's parents. We had a bunch of firsts that week; first time for Katelyn on an airplane, first time for Paul to meet Katelyn and our first trip to the Grand Canyon.
Debbie got a few supplies to keep the sun off the girls eyes.

Cakes slept through our first stop at the Grand Canyon. Isabelle was very concerned about anyone getting too close to the edge.

In the Northern most part of Paul and Debbie's mission boundaries we finally managed to get Paul out of a shirt and tie (it was P-Day after all!) and into Nana and Papa mode.
Our week in Arizona went by fast but we had a great time.
